THE PROOF THAT LAWYER ISAAC MINTA LARBI IS A TRUE VISIONARY
AND THE FUTURE AND DESTINY OF OKERE WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER IN HIS HANDS.

In 2001, Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi then a student of the Ghana School of Law was voted into office as the SRC President of the Ghana School of Law.
During the long vacation in August/September 2001, our lawyer travelled to the USA on a visit.
Whilst at home at his sister’s place, our lawyer was doing research on the internet and came across an association called International Law Students Association.
Our lawyer became curious and researched more about this association. He then found out that this association is a group of law students from around the world.
Unfortunately, Ghana wasn’t a member. Again this same association has been organizing the Jessup Moot Court Competition in the USA every year with more than 100 schools from around the world with over 500 law students meeting in Washington DC USA for the event.
And Ghana was missing out on all the opportunities this event presents including the huge networking opportunity this event presents to all participants from around the world.
Being a good man, a visionary and a generous man, our lawyer took it upon himself to use his own money to register the Ghana School of Law to become a member of the International Law Students Association to pave the way for Ghana to have the opportunity to benefit from this major event.
After our lawyer returned to Ghana, he immediately informed the school authority who were full of praise for our lawyer for taking such initiative on his own in the interest of the Ghana School of Law.
Our lawyer on his own even in the days of very slow internet in Ghana through dial-up internet never gave up and found ways to put together a team of lecturers, lawyers, and supreme court justices to interview, creating an internal competition in the law school in order to select and get the best of students to represent Ghana at the event.
After putting the team together, there came the issue of how to get visas for these students who didn’t have the background to qualify for a visa.
Our very smart lawyer came up with the idea of finding a way to convince the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to come to collect the passports of the Ghana team and they managed to get visas for Ghana’s team without going to the USA embassy for the visa interview.
This was incredible how he could manage to envision how this was even going to be possible in the first place. Yet he imagined it and made it happen.
Our lawyer is a hero who makes things happen.
He’s blessed with foresight, vision, ingenuity, smartness, and intelligence and highly blessed with thinking abilities that easily generate solutions to bigger problems.
Our lawyer also managed to obtain a grant of US$500 at the time from George Washington University in Washington DC to support the Ghana team in buying a ticket to travel to the USA to participate in the event.
What our lawyer was doing at the time was incredible and unseen for someone at such a tender age in Ghana.
He was a miracle sent from above and Okere is going to witness the greatness of God through the works he’s going to undertake in Okere.
Since 2002 Ghana has always sent law students to go to the USA every year and that’s the kind of legacy Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi has left both in the law school and the whole of Ghana.
If someone at such a tender age could see such a huge opportunity, be that visionary, go the extra mile to use his own money to take advantage of the opportunity for the people of Ghana and work so hard to ensure that the vision and opportunity come to fruition, then one can only imagine what he can do when he’s presented with the opportunity to lead Okere.
A vote for Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi is a vote for a true visionary.
A vote for Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi is a vote for the future of Okere.
Our Lawyer has demonstrated that he is someone who can see the tremendous benefits of an opportunity and not only that is willing and able to take advantage of it for the benefit of the present and future generations.
Since the year 2002 and for more than 21 years now, every single year law students from Ghana travel to the USA to participate in this great competition.
This is the kind of person we need for the future of Okere.
A vote for anyone else is a vote that would jeopardize our future as Okere citizens.
It is really hard to find and to come by such visionary people in our society these days and now that we have one for ourselves it’ll be the biggest mistake to vote for anyone else other than our own well-accomplished, visionary and successful Lawyer.
He is the best Okere has now and the best for many years to come.
Vote wisely and let’s change the future of Okere together.
Please see below a video of Justice Nene Amegatcher, Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana announcing the team from the University of Ghana (UG) as winners of the Jessup Moot Court Competition in Ghana.
Now because we have so many law schools in Ghana they compete amongst themselves for the winner to represent Ghana at the competition in the USA. What it means is that the team from the University of Ghana Law School will be representing Ghana at this year’s 2023 Jessup Moot Court Competition in the USA.
Kudos to team UG and God bless our Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi our incoming MP for Okere Constituency. Please come and do some for us in Okere. We need you.
Under his leadership Okere Shall Rise Again.
